Vertigo Airshows - Bob Carlton

Bob Carlton started flying in 1979 at age 19 and began flying air shows in 1993. He got his start in the Salto sailplane and has been pushing boundaries with it ever since!

Many air show fans may know Bob for his white and red Super Salto sailplane, but in 2024 Bob debuted a BRAND-NEW aircraft – the FoxJet! The FoxJet aircraft has TWO jet engines, which means it can take the classic capabilities of sailplanes to new heights! It is the only sailplane in the industry that can carry two people and perform a low-level, jet-powered air show performance! Bob’s high energy, exciting performance in the FoxJet will feature loops, rolls, hammerheads, spins, and vertical penetration never before seen by a sailplane!
