The Heritage Flight teams up a modern Air Force aircraft with a WWII, Vietnam or Korean War era aircraft. Together they fly in a powerful formation that shows off the history of Air Force aviation and honors all of those who have served in the U.S. Air Force past and present.

At the 2026 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger, the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team will team up with a WWII era P-38 for the Heritage Flight.
