FighterJets Jet Demo Team

June 13 - 14, 2026 | Dayton International Airport

Making their epic return to Dayton…it’s FighterJets Jet Demo Team and their THREE MiG-17s!

This amazing team will put on an incredible demonstration that highlights the amazing power and speed of the MiG-17. This will be an incredibly rare opportunity to see THREE MiGs FLYING IN FORMATION and you don’t want to miss it!

The MiG-17 was the main enemy aircraft for the United States during the Vietnam War. It engaged with several well-known U.S. Aircraft including the the A-4,A-7, F-8, B-52, F-100, F-105 and its primary nemesis, the F-4 Phantom II.

During that war and up until the F-16 entered service the MiG-17 was the tightest-turning fighter in the world. When production started in the 1950s, its VK-1F engine made it one of the first production jet fighters in the world with an afterburner. The MiG-17F could carry bombs, rockets, or extra fuel tanks under its wings.

Three silver MiG fighter jets from the Fighterjets Jets Demo Team fly in formation against a cloudy sky. The aircraft feature red Soviet-style star markings and red fuselage stripes as they perform a coordinated aerial pass.
