Aerospace Adventures

The Aerospace Adventures (A2) Program

Aerospace Adventures (A2) program provides interactive, hands on activities, experiments, and demonstrations to children ages 6-16. Since the programs inaugural year in 2003, thousands of families have enjoyed activities ranging from aerodynamic experiments, safety equipment demonstrations, rocketry, Global Positioning tutorials, and flying simulators. Aerospace Adventures will be open throughout the Vectren Dayton Air Show on the show grounds near the Pavilion.

A2 is composed of numerous themes ranging from emphasis in education and aerospace heritage to hands-on activities like flight simulation and preparing an aircraft for flight; however the goal remains consistent throughout all the themes -- to get kids interested in STEM education!

Aerospace Adventures is produced by the National Aviation Heritage Area Alliance ( and its partner organizations.
